Women's Team
The women’s Dulwich team have achieved their best ever result in the Queen’s cup, coming an impressive third place overall.
The Queen’s cup is an internal league within London running from October to April, which sees Dulwich face up against some extremely strong teams with great depth, such as Roehampton, Cumberland and Queens. There’s been many memorable battles on the courts, courtesy of the "English" scoring system, with some matches going well over 80 minutes and into the night!
The Dulwich team is made up of Natalie Machin, Hayley Openshaw-Blower, Esther Chak, Maya Goel, Nikki Goel, Miriam Emanuel and Alice Greswold. Particular mention goes to the juniors within the team who had to juggle school, homework and exams alongside all their squash commitments.
As always, thanks so much to those at Dulwich that make all the logistics of the league run so smoothly - especially Nikhil, Noreen and Miriam.
Here’s to another podium finish next year. Well done all!

Men's Team
It was a close, but no cigar, season for the Dulwich Tandoori sponsored Men's First Team - with just one loss before Christmas, they were "table toppers" at the festive break.
However, a heavy defeat to title rivals, Limpsfield, saw them leap-frogged with just a few games to go. Despite losing just three matches all season, to Limpsfield’s five reversals, the points deficit remained, and the team were nudged into the runners-up spot by just 8 points. Despite losing talisman and captain, Gordon Harpur, to injury in February, there were standout performances by Aidan O’Brien, helping the Second Team to a solid fifth-place finish in Division 1.
The Third and Fourth Teams endured tough seasons in Division 2, but did just enough in the run-in to avoid the dreaded drop by 9 and 7 points, respectively – and yes, the 4ths did indeed finish just ahead of the 3rds!
