The leagues
The Club Squash League is mixed and caters for a wide range of playing abilities. All members are encouraged to join. The Squash League has around 190 participants and each one usually lasts 6 or 7 weeks.
Social squash
Club Nights are on Fridays and Sundays and open to members (£6) and non-members alike (£12). Courts are pre-booked, so just come along and join in. An ideal way to try out the club. Play as much or as little as you want!
Fridays runs from 18:00 to 20:45.
Sundays runs from 17:45 to 21:00.
Ladies Club session is organised on Saturday mornings from 09:30 to 11:15. Also open to non-members. Information about the event is available from the club coach, James Brownsdon.
Racket Ball social play is arranged regularly by members.
Squash Doubles has an enthusiastic following at the club and social play is also organised by members.
Tournaments
Club Tournaments are held around late spring/summer, and there is an additional Winter Handicap Competition in the winter months. These events give opportunities for members of a wide range of abilities to meet and play other club members.
The summer tournament features an Men's, Ladies, Veteran's, Handicap, Racketball and Doubles championships. The Winter tournament focuses on Handicap, with a plate completion.
